Noise.

Noise is unwanted sound considered unpleasant. Noise indistinguishable from sound, as both are vibrations through an air medium. The difference arises when the brain receives and perceives a sound.

Noise is a difficult pollution both inside and outside environments

The fundamental reason for noise is that  we depend in our society on so many different machines and tools and most of them are quite too noisy. This is true for Aircraft, Road vehicles, Ventilation system in building, Outboard engines and Industrial machines.

To make these machines and tools quieter and free of vibration is mainly a task for the Mechanical Engineer

Studies have shown that the most workers, without hearing protection in noisy environments have lost substantial hearing ability over the period of time.

Noise from traffic is considered one of the worst environmental stressors for human.

If you are facing road traffic everyday in your working days, there will be a substantial loss in your productivity due to stress.

If your office or home is exposed to noise from neighbor for a long period of time, then you should think of isolating your space with the guidance of Acoustical Consultants or you can talk to your neighbor to seek for the advice of Acoustical Consultants. This will give you freedom from noise.

Another place for the higher noise pollution is Under Construction Sites. But the good thing about this place is, pollurion will not last for the long time.

Neighbors will be exposed to higher noise levels only till construction happens. Once the building is finished there will not be much noise after that.

Development of IT parks and SEZ's near the community areas lead to the serious Noise Pollution. This is what happening in Bangalore especially. Because when two completely different type of zones comes close to each other, there will huge conflict in attaining the zoning law.

There is a restriction is noise levels to the Industrial area in which the minimum allowed noise level is the maximum allowed noise level for the Residential area.

So there will be a conflict between two parties for all the days of the year.
